Even Googling the problem yielded no results. I know I should be able to program the stick so the mouse and keyboard are no longer needed, I just haven't figured out how yet. I've had the same issue since buying my X52. Maybe someone else out there has had the same problem and figured it out.Funny you should post this. Can never have too many heads working on a problem. Maybe someone else out there has had the same problem and figured it out.Īny ideas out there? I've sent the question to Saitek, but thought I'd toss it out up here, too.

I can calibrate it in FSX - FSX sees all of the buttons and switches - but I would have to manually program everything instead of setting it up in SST.Īny ideas out there? I've sent the question to Saitek, but thought I'd toss it out up here, too. So it seems like I can program the controller, but there is no way I can load it to use with FSX. The device has not been profiled.” I chose an existing profile with the same results. Next I tried to load the new profile from the icon that Saitek installs in the lower right-hand corner (by the date) and got this result: "FSX_Gary_1.pr0 does not contain a profile for this device. Anything from the keyboard or the mouse showed up, but nothing from the controller. Next was trying to test the profile - I clicked on the Test choice, the box opened up, and I tried to test my new assignments. Anyone familiar with the SST software - the Profile Editor - will know that you can modify all of the switches and buttons on the controllers, and save the profile.
